Keep your dog dry and stylish in the Canes Venatici Raincoat, designed for Indian monsoons and unexpected showers. This waterproof olive green jacket combines practical weather protection with a sleek fit that works for daily walks, park visits, and outdoor adventures. Available in sizes 10, 16, and 22 inches, it's an essential layer for pet parents who refuse to skip outdoor time just because of rain.

Why Pet Parents Love It

• ✓ Genuine waterproof fabric — keeps fur dry without the crinkly plastic feel of cheap raincoats
• ✓ Lightweight and breathable — your dog won't overheat on humid monsoon days or during active play
• ✓ Olive green looks good — designed for pet parent aesthetics, not just function
• ✓ Easy on, easy off — quick-dry material means no soggy cleanup indoors

Better Than Standard Dog Raincoats Because

• ✓ Premium waterproof coating vs thin polyester alternatives that absorb moisture
• ✓ Tailored fit for Indian dog breeds vs oversized one-size-fits-all jackets that slip off
• ✓ Reinforced seams at stress points vs standard stitching that fails after 2-3 seasons

Best For

• ✓ Small to medium dogs (toy breeds, Dachshunds, Cocker Spaniels) in urban Indian homes
• ✓ Monsoon season walks across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and coastal regions
• ✓ Pet parents who live in high-humidity climates where standard raincoats trap heat
• ✓ Dogs with sensitive skin that react to synthetic materials

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will this raincoat fit my dog if she's between two sizes?

Measure your dog's back length from neck to tail base. If between sizes, choose the larger one for comfort; a snug fit restricts movement and causes chafing.

Q: How do I clean it after muddy monsoon walks?

Rinse with cool water and air-dry indoors. Avoid machine washing, which damages waterproof coatings. For stubborn mud, use a soft brush once dry.

Q: Is this suitable for very hot monsoons in South India?

Yes — the breathable weave prevents heat buildup. Many pet parents in Bangalore and Chennai use it year-round because it's lightweight enough for pre-monsoon showers.

Q: Does my dog need to wear a collar underneath?

The raincoat won't irritate your dog's neck, but many pet parents keep collars on for easy leash attachment — the material won't restrict it.
